Any one have any pictures of Plum Crazy purple cars? And if by chance, maybe a 61-71 year sweptline in that color. I'm kind of thinking of that color for the D100 (Plum crazy body, white roof, white bumper, silver grill, white rear bumper, white Dodge on the tailgate)

Any thoughts? Yes? No? Not sure if it will stay that color choice, but for now, for some reason i think i like that color on that truck.

ive seen one that way ...once..killer looking truck be he had the chrome bumpers wich is a MUCH better look imo

how many here are familier with the House of Kolor paint color PBC107 Deep Lilac? Think that would look ok? (plum crazy still looks a little light in my taste, i kinda like a deep dark color)

heres (i think) a plum crazy purple sweptline with a simular setup i was going for (except mine has a different grill and i have a 8ft bed)

I shot plum crazy with silver stripes on a 58 furrd 4x4 many years ago. It looked great at first but the owner kinda lost interest in it after a few years and it ended up in the bone yard and after fading out it looked like total dog shit. I would stick with a lighter non metallic single stage for a workhorse so it will be easy to spot repair and who cares if it gets all muddy and scratched.

ho...how sure are you it ended up "staying" in the wrecker?...cause if it did ive seen its ugly twin

ive never seen one in that color. I had a plum crazy 64 polara in High school though. the color gets to be alittle much.
