Pics of my new project!

73roadrunner

I'm Famous!
Here is a link to a car I've picked up. It's a 1970 Dodge Dart Swinger 340. Missing engine and Transmission, but has an exceptionally clean body with only a couple of small rust spots. Since I'm tied up with my '73 RoadRunner, I've contracted this out to John Pasemann of US Car Tool. After pricing several Mopar shops, He was very reasonable pricewise and had a good turnaround time. Several other shops have 2-4 year waiting lists. He will be posting pics as he goes along with resto. I'm not looking for a show poodle, but a solid driver restoration. Really look forward to having this ready for the Spring. Click on link and at the bottom left click on Mark's Dart Swinger 340. John's a really great guy who has a passion for cars! [smilie=e:

Yeah, I'd like to do some of the work myself, but I put in 60 hour weeks with 12 hours additional traveling. [smilie=e: Plus My Road Runner absorbs my little free time that I have. I really want something to ride for next years show season. I really wanted Sammy's brother's Dart but that sold quickly! I had a good friend that had one of these growing up, and it was a fast lil beeotch! Plus I have to return Beep's runner! [smilie=i: So I'll probally catch grief for having someone else do the work, but I don't have the time! Plus the lil Dart is in very capable hands. [smilie=e: It'll be cool to have this Go Mango rocket next year! I know my son LawnDarts is excited as well, even though he really wants a Demon. [smilie=e:

Looks very clean indeed!! [smilie=e: [smilie=e: [smilie=e:
