Pic of the day.

Think that's a 38 Dodge.

Chevy - according to the family members that were there with me. Not a single emblem or mark to be found on it - I didn't look for a data plate or the like - no time.

Floors appear solid - the rad and diff are gone, along with the aformentioned identification stuff (including the horn button) other wise, it's all there.

But the interior pics sure look like the Dodge to me...

Ah - the wizened and wise master emerges from his cave to share his vast knowledge, gathered through the centuries....:D

Thanks Mr. 68.

We have a winner;

'38 Dodge;

And our omnipotent elder speaks the truth, casting aside all those who would bear false witness, and confirming what the young apprentice "cows" had judged the automotive device to be.....:D:D

Thanks again Mr. 68 - appreciate the info. I just went by what the family members were saying when we were there.....guess I never researched to see what it really was.

And for the record, I said "omnipotent," not "impotent." :toot:

:hail:

I was thinking of starting another thread entitled: "Engine Porn."

That would make for an excellent first picture.
Thanks. I have a few more. Here's the car the engine belongs to. Poor quality, but it's the only one I have. This car was the last complete paint job I ever did. Looking back at that part of my life now is like seeing a movie of someone else's life.:doubt:

Reminds me of the river that runs through what was my Great Uncle's farm near Swan River Manitoba. He was something of a naturalist before such a thing was considered hip, so he left the little valley that the river ran through on his yard untouched....so it looked much like this picture.
