Richard Palmer will become the Chief Operating Officer for Systems and Castings, reporting directly to Sergio Marchionne, on January 1; he will remain the Chief Financial Officer and a member of the Group Executive Council for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.He is replacing Riccardo Tarantini, who is retiring after over 35 years.
