... so much want wrapped up into one car. This is my #2 dream car, right after the Challenger. I doubt they built one any closer to my ultimate Charger. It needs only the Rallye wheels and the canopy vinyl top (which it is supposed to have but it was removed), and lacks only AC and manual disc brakes, both of which were excluded with the much-more awesome Super Track Pack. Dazright.

Let's just break this sucker down for a moment:
E86: 440-4V high-performance V8, 370HP
D21: 4-speed manual transmission
WP29: Charger Special Edition, 2-door sports hardtop
U1G: 440 Magnum, 1971 model year, St. Louis assembly
175311: Sequence number
GA4: A4 Light Gunmetal paint (introduced on G-class, also the '71 feature color for it)
D3X9: Deluxe vinyl & cloth split bench interior, black
TX9: Black upper door-frame paint
208: February 8 scheduled build (indicating it absolutely wasn't built that day
)
048535: Vehicle order number
V4X: Canopy vinyl roof, black
U: Order type (U want dis cah)
A34: Super God-damned Track Pack Damn It: includes 4.10 Sure Grip Dana 60, maximum cooling, power disc brakes, neighbor's envy, Hemi suspension, excludes air conditioning because you're already way too fucking cool.
B41: Front disc brakes (mandatory w/A34)
B51: Power brakes (mandatory w/A34)
D58: 4.10:1 Sure Grip Dana 60 axle
G31: LH chrome outside racing mirror, remote
G33: RH chrome outside racing mirror, manual
J45: Hood tie-down pins, N/A w/instrument-panel hood release (J52)
J52: Instrument-panel hood release, mandatory w/SE & concealed headlamps, N/A w/hood tie-down pins (J45)
L37: Concealed headlamps
M21: Heavy-duty Muncie close-ratio 4-speed transmission... just kidding, it's chrome drip rail mouldings)
M31: Body belt mouldings
M44: Hood, quarter, & fender bright mouldings
N41: High capacity fan (7-blade viscous)
N42: Bright dual exhaust extensions ("Bazooka" tips)
N85: Tachometer
R11: 2-watt AM radio (both watts at once, even)
V7X: Longitudinal accent (pin)stripes, black
26: "Make room for the big radiator, Jim!"
END: End of codes, no second tag

Even if the car's a screaming pile, if it is what the data tag says it is and not a rebody, it's worth every penny to me. They only built 29 Charger SEs with the 440/4-speed combination, and I'm sure not all of them were A4 paint or A34 Super Track Pack cars. The hood pins where it supposedly couldn't have 'em is just a neat order-sheet screw-up (I've not only seen it previously, I had one) but there's really nothing I'd change about this car from the data tag. Hate vinyl though I do, I'd put the canopy roof back on it because it looks so good, and the rolling stock would be replaced with 15x7 Rallye wheels in a heartbeat.
To be honest, saying "I would buy it in a heartbeat" is a lie, because I'm having a very hard time stopping myself from buying this car. I'm pretty sure I could get the financing against it outright, but if not I could just refinance my house (which is paid off). It's really that tempting.
