going to montreal for 2 days on a business/golf trip. get back friday. just enough time to get cuda ready to race at the ottodrom on saturday.. this is a good week

i'm back.
arrived in montreal on highway # 40. then dead stopped. a truck carring chemicals was in an accident up ahead. the emergency crews had do verify no leaks & safety. so a 45 minute, engine off, standing outside on a super highway was in order.
finished busines around noon & went to play golf. on the 5th hole we received a phone from a stranger claiming he had our brief cases & suit cases. he said he found them on the highway. WTF? so we go back to check out the durango only to find the left rear window smashed & things gone.
the thieves were looking for lap tops. nothing found in luggage so they just toss the stuff. we hooked up with the stranger & got alomst everything back.
what a f'n city.
went back & finished our golf game.

Ps. Picked up a little something at Norwalk last w/e that could work very well on the Cuda.....850dp. It needs a little work (powervalves/jetting) but would sure look purty sitting on top of a tm7 in Cuda's engine bay. [smilie=e:

FF - do you need any parts for the 850? Luskville runs time trials till mid october. after the last race Oct 3 it would be a blast to test that TM7/850dp combo.

racing at the ottodrom tomorrow. with no racing at the ville there could be a good turn out.
the ottodrom web sites states they've signed up for the 2005 summit super series with IHRA. that could be pretty interesting.

I'm only 10 minutes from that track,but I've never been to it, since the 70's,it was only an oval back then,(capital city speedway),I'd like to check out the drags before winter,,maybe Ron will want to drive out and we'll watch you run your 'cuda,,looks like a nice car !,,,
