ok..i know they made em and they are rare...but rip off all the CRAP and it would look half decent...but without a turbo it aint going to get out of its own way

Now, now.. "ho's" is derogatory towards your run of the mill skank. I believe the term you're looking for is "chickenhead"

Blame my past life as an installer as the reason I noticed, but holy shit! Not only is it a removable CD deck rather than just the face (remember those?), it's a honest-to-God cartridge-style unit. To change CDs, you have to eject the cartridge, then remove the CD from that rather than the deck itself. It was supposed to help with skipping. It didn't. Good Lord, I haven't seen one of those in 25 years.

The cut-down hubcabs inlaid in art-deco clock frames on the fenders are pure class. :D

yeah i aint seen one of those discs in CAR aplication ever..but i have the PC version still working....they made GREAT disc protectors

When they were still being made, there were a few guys around here that had multiple cartridges in which they'd keep their favorite CDs to speed up disc changes. If memory serves, the cartridges were around $25 each in mid-'80s bucks.

I used to care what CDs or tapes I had in the car when I was younger. Now I'm just surprised when I get into one of my cars and the radio's working.

The Valiant has two radios, neither of 'em does. The previous owner installed a two-shaft Road Gear analog AM/FM/cassette under the dash. Props for not cutting the thumbwheel radio faceplate or dash, but seriously? An analog tape deck?!

My plan is to just allow the 340 to provide the aural excitement.

I haven't had a working radio in any of my vehicles in over 10 years.

I too just enjoy listening to my vehicles....it's amazing how much diagnosis you can perform from just listening to the changing noises in the regular function of the vehicle.
