Earlier this week, FCA US opened a new Mopar parts distribution center in Winchester, Virginia. Spanning 400,000 square feet, the facility cost over $12 million, and will provide 70 jobs in two shifts as pickers handle over 50,000 different parts, serving around 200 dealerships — around 9.2 million parts per year.
Mopar chief Pietro Gorlier, UAW Chrysler chief Norwood Jewell, and various politicians appeared at the opening ceremony.
