One report from Auburn Hills suggests that while the 2018 Jeep Wrangler will stay with its traditionalround headlights, there might be an LED or HID optionas well. This would be welcomed by many buyers, given that even the cheapest Dodges and Chryslerscan get HID headlights now.
Reportedly, the turn signals have also been moved to the outer fenders, from their traditional places in the grille. Some may appreciate this, others may dislike it; the primary reason is likely cost reduction, since this allows the company to use a single assembly for forward facing and side lights (in North America. European Jeeps will need separate side lights.)
