I am the proud new owner of 1968 Barracuda. I have been hanging around the old car scene for a while now grew up in a GM factory town back east. This is my first foray into the land of Mopar.
We require photos before we'll actually welcome you to the fold.
Glad to have you here. We're not exactly the typical car board, but we really are Mopar guys. I've got a '61 Plymouth Suburban wagon, '74 Challenger, and '82 Imperial myself. All projects, all 4-speeds.
We require pictures & a sense of humor. There is so much knowledge and talent here and none of the bickering or bitching that can be found at other sights comes with that knowledge and talent. We are for the most part all MOPAR but we all love cars. If you need to know anything at all, someone here will be able to help.
There WILL be sarcasm, cheap shots and ribbing though. It's all in fun.
Welcome aboard!
I live in a GM town now, but there's only one plant left of three. So, it's getting better.
Actually, the economy sucks. They employed a lot of people here. Now, GM busses people from here to the next closest plant. That means being at the bus station at 4AM and then getting stuck in rush hour traffic on the way home. NUTS!
The original GM plant here in town has been empty for years. They just recently announced plans to tear it all down and build a seniors' village and other residential development.
