My R/T

I acquired some new (to me) wheels, 2020 Charger Scatpack 20x9s, in a custom yellow/gold color. I test fitted one, and I'm kinda diggin' the color against the black. I have a pair of 255/40ZR20s enroute, along with the correct oil pan and a new pair of front hubs to have welded and drilled with the correct bolt pattern.

Should've cleared out the debris under the truck a little better. rear.jpeg

There's a fella that runs around these parts with a black 2009-era Mitsu Eclipse that's lowered and has a similar (but slightly paler) gold finish on the oversize aftermarket wheels. He absolutely nailed the wheel offset--it's literally perfect--and the windows are almost as black as the paint. I've no love of Eclipses after the first generation, but that car looks as right as rain. I wouldn't change anything about it.

Well, the 255s were a bust, no big deal though, I got a pair of 275/40/20s on the rear now, they come right to the edge of the wheel well with only the little nubbies protruding. They're stock height, 28" and it shows, I need a good 3-4" drop to properly fill the opening.

Hubs have been dropped off, hopefully they'll be back before the end of the week.signal-2024-02-24-135427_002.jpegsignal-2024-02-24-135408_002.jpeg

If you're going to service an AT save the dirty ATF and dribble some in that driveway crack to keep the weeds down. Drain oil will stain the cement, but ATF won't.

I loaded it up last night to take it down to apply for a bonded title this morning, the inspector was surprised that it didn't run or have anything connected. I told him it wasn't required to be functional, the motor and transmission just had to be in place so he shrugged and signed off on the paperwork. Next step is to head to the DMV with a pile of paperwork so I can get a title.

Everything is stalled for now. Lack of fundage, mainly because I needed to purchase expensive emission garbage for my 250, but I decided to actually fix it so later today my daily will be Canada compliant.
