the next logical question would be what music do you guys like? i like most music(rap excluded because i dont consider it to be music) but tend to gravitate towards classic rock.

Mostly heavy rock (not the screaming crap you can't understand). A few favourites are Godsmack and Disturbed. I'll listen to just about anything though unless it's country or crappy pop.

Metal from the 80's will always be a fav of mine but I like alot of the newer and older rock also. Rob Zombie, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, AC/DC, Pantera, Tool, Metallica, Black Label Society, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Motley Crue.....well you get the idea.

Real Rock - not the crap they seem to play on the radio nowadays - like Pink Floyd, Journey, Springsteen, or Van Halen in their original incarnation.

Rock before commercialism and pretty faces took over.

Who the h*ll does that God-Awful remake of Lynard Skynard's "Simple Man"?

Or Classic Country before anyone who could wear a cowboy hat became a country "Artist". Folks like Marty Robbins, or Waylon and Willie, Hank Snow & Hank Williams. Some newer stuff like Alan Jackson or Vince Gill is alright too.

In short, anyone who can really sing will get my ear, whether its loud or mellow.

Just about anything that demonstrates some real musical & vocal ability. That pretty much excludes rap and the angry "I hate everything" crap they call metal these days. Other than that, if it's good, I am happy to listen to it.

Been listening to a lot more symphony music lately, both classical & modern composers...my sister's influence finally taking hold of me I guess.

I apologize for that.....:D
I listen to it all......everything from Original classical to Punk to some rap. I like music for what it instills into the emotions... yah know? Most of this new stuff does nothing for me, and I must admit I listen to very little "true" opera....I find it annoying that I have no clue what they are saying. ;)

Hmmm....how to narrow it down...:hmmm: Anything from Led Zepplin to Lamb of God. Can't stand Country, 'Cookie Monster' metal (formerly known as Death Metal:D ) I like some rap but very picky as to who it is, classical once in a while. As a guitar player I very highly looked up to Dimebag!(:( R.I.P.) (Pantera, DamagePlan) Now I'm not really that impressed with alot of guitar players. So pretty much as long as it has a good beat and a groove I can dig....it's cool with me. Oh and I still like Metallica! [smilie=f: rofl
