Mopars at Milan Dragway 2009....

I have serious issues, so I'm
We had a great time, my husband and I mostly hung out with our friend Doug (Sledge57 on moparts) so I have a lot of pictures of his car.

No new bests for me, but at least the car was consistent, that is until the cool evening air hit and it speed up by several tenths. I just knew I was going to break out second round and sure enough, I didn't slow down enough at the stripe and broke out by three HUNDREDTHS. Dialed 13.35 and ran 13.32.

Our friend's immaculate '65 Dart that runs 11.40's with a small block and full exhaust.

I myself enjoyed the racing program from the spectators seat. It was a beautiful sunny day with minimal down time on the track. A lot of nice looking race cars. For a small show it's one of my favorites each year.

looks like he made it about 20 feet?..thats a hell of a bunnyhop for no wheelie bars..look under the car in the first pic and you see pieces...look at the line in the secon shot...broke the weld clean off....so im guessing the tail shaft stayed in the tranny for no cleanup on the track.......ummmm driveshaft safty loop didnt hold that bugger in
