We've been sitting for awhile growing dirt and the cost of 110 octane is just stupid and life had a few plans itself. So after all the life drama, messing with other projects20210911_132818.jpg and such we scrape up a few dollars for our favorite toy. We decided on a big inch pump gas motor. Slow process of inspecting old pieces, fitting everything together, repainting and some rust repair on the body. Had to say goodbye to my brass radiator, it was cheaper to replace than repair. If I recall, @Yokmoni's car has a standard hood. I don't know if that intake/carb setup would fit an Air Grabber. Fresh air is nice (if overrated) but it severely limits your intake/carb choices.

Damn. I was hoping for a report back on the durability of those ultra-high-compression masking-tape head gaskets. 😁
I understand--I did the same thing with my W2 engine. Once you reach a certain point in the parts-gathering phase, you've just got to "slap-assemble" the rest of the way it to get a preview of the finished product. It's motivational!
