Mercedes-Dodge, Jeep recalls

One of two recalls announced today is being conducted by Mercedes, for Dodge-labelled Sprinter vans. 2007-09 Sprinter 2500 and 3500 vans, sold under the Dodge and Freightliner labels, are being recalled to replace the Takata airbag inflators. There are no known cases where the inflators have failed, but the flawed design makes eventual failure likely, especially in hot, humid regions.
