Mazda and Toyota have begun construction of a joint assembly plant in Huntsville, Alabama. The automakers foresee an annual production of 300,000 vehicles, beginning in 2021. Estimated ot cost some $1.6 billion USD, the project will create 4,000 jobs in the region.
