Mark's 1970 Dart Swinger 340 Project

Hi Folks - I am new here, so lets see if this works!


Mark recently aquired a '70 Dart Swinger 340 body and had us go collect it from GA so we could restore it. Here is a link to the progress pics. So far, just the strip down, but it is mostly nice original metal with a few cancer spots.

The car had already been media blasted when we collected it, so nothing was hidden. Nice mostly original sheetmetal with just a couple of fixup areas and then it goes back to the original Go-Mango orange.

I will drop updates here from time to time with progress.

weeeeeeeee another buildup to watch ....this will be fun and complicated to keep them all apart, but i guess i will have to figure it out.. [smilie=e:
 
nice dart looks like typical westcoast rot LOL..killer shape for an east coast car

that vert looks posibly better than rustys started out
 
It will be fun to watch that come to life [smilie=e: . Where did you get the tag number decoder? I didn't get mine in my ceral box [smilie=s:
 
Added more pictures starting at the bottom of Page 5.

The Dart is now headed for the paint shop and should be in color next week!
