SHIT-anybody want to buy my body. --well used and beatup, half the parts missing but the ones that are there are good. still goes down the road everyday. hard on fuel- muffler is real bad. lots of ex. gas. belly pan is saggin. knees nock,neads a new head. pisston barely has compression, valves are good. brake lines in the legs still work -- if they didn,t i would be going down hill fuull tilt--... windshield good shape also has spare for farther vision and a cool windshield for the sun. brake pads have low spots and radio works -springs are old.can still sing. rad overheats now and then and needs good liquid. cool body when in front of fan. will run at race track. ETA- off the wall -time is not good enough to put up. needs oil to keep going and little tablets drop in the spout to improve milage.no fenders. did i say it needs a new head? has a dipstick but not as straight as should be but will do the trick. directionals not working like they should but the 4 ways are not on. filters are plugged up but don,t touch tricky trying to remove and replace. still lots of horsepower in low gear where it is the best place to keep it. high gear will blow a gasket. blown lots of gaskets . was made to run in high gear and run high compression but has to go back to low com. for the sake of keeping it on the road. NOT READY FOR THE JUNK PILE at the local permanent sleep clinic. been put on monitors and checked out and the paper says miles left- don,t know how many . going in for scope to find out why the gas element is not working and they are going to check ALL electrical wiring-- should be fun. anyone want this -- i need a total make over. ---xl and resto will verify the deal they know what it looks like--thanks ---- ps.--wife says the ride is still comfortable hahahahaha---ORVIL
 
Nodda I will side with you that it does seem that almost everything that one does is now a struggle to get it done. Whether we are dwelling on the negative (I really don't think so) or it has gotten more difficult to accomplish things correctly in a reasonable amount of time.
The old joke about the guy who goes out on a Saturday morning to change his oil and winds up doing everything else under the sun just to get situated seems to be based in reality.
For me an unwanted byproduct of that is patience and tolerance seems to have evaporated. So it feeds on itself.
But DAMN man - TV?????? Chit testing the tensile strength of your cranium with a lateral impact device would be more rewarding.

Not nearly as sorry as I am - but I still have another month or two before I need to bolt it on.

Thanks othernodda, I appreciate your concern, because I know it's genuine.

It's not a lot of money and it's only partially the insult of the whole thing....

The issue now is not knowing if it's gonna show up for sure or not. Mark is supposed to ship the thing to me collect. I figger it's gonna cost another $150.00 - $200 for the thing to get shipped here. I would hate to find & buy another then have this one arrive, freight collect.

But y'know - if Jon says it's gonna get here, then I believe it will.

I will be patient.

It's hard.

But I can do it.

If I try.

I guess.

A second to the utter exhaustion it takes to get things done right these days. ANYTHING at all that involves a person following directions.. balancing a tire, installing brake rotors, painting a wall, making a burger, etc. and if the job actually requires skill, talent or a sense of responsibility... LOOK OUT!

I've gotten ot the point that if I can't do it myself, I would rather just not get involved in a project. So of course, I'm not doing much of anything.

I used to use Ban, but Right Guard has come a long way and is much more effective.
And are you now going around applying people's deodorant for them XL? Any money in it, or is it just a hobby?
 
Tis merely a hobby, 6er. I do, however collect a small reward for stealing used undergarments......
