Low deck pictures

I lost a head gasket on the GTX and torched the deck on the RB...so I thought to get it back on the road as soon as I can I would throw this low deck in it...

WOW!!! Three cams!! Thats gotta be pretty radical, huh?? ;)

IS that crank one of the old MP pieces, before they switched to China ( and kept the same price :( )?? Im still cheesed at myself for not buying one, of those.

OR...does Callies still sell them ( all I ever see adverted, is 4.500" stoke monstrosities )

Marty...Callies have been putting out .150's for a while now...they stopped a couple of years ago...something to do with a no production deal with Chry...but that's over now so there back at it...

Very impressive Rob ! When i see bushed lifter bores on a freshly machined lowdeck stroker with boxes full of Callies, Jesel and Manley parts lying on the bench.....the 'ole heart starts a 'flutterin, lol. That is going to be one serious effort lowdeck stroker [smilie=c:

Lookin forward to seeing some dyno #'s on this badboy [smilie=2: ....they're gonna be BIG !

Ron....that's my big hold up...what cam to put in...mom and the boy whan to do more driving around...the other engine was a solid 4 mpg so I was good for 50 miles round trip...couldn't go anywhere with out a support car with fuel for the GTX...I'm tired of that...!!! so with this engine I'm looking for 8 mpg or better....so when it's on the dyno I was thinking of pulling it with a small stick first and then slide something else in to see what these heads work like..(there smaller Indy 1's than the ones on the old engine) these are a 350 cc intake port and a 200 cc ex port..

Marty...there not bad..$1500...there lighter...everything is in the right place...I think there a real deal..

Geez, Rob....even with a mild stick, that bullet will still make a lot of power. Are you looking at a roller or flat tappet ? I like the head choice....440-1's....you don't mess around, lol.

Looking forward to those dyno #'s....hopefully you can tune it to be fuel efficient enough to achieve that 8mpg benchmark. [smilie=e:

Ron...solid roller...you get really nice street manors with a fairly aggressive lobe compaired to almost the same solid lifter profile...roller cams run nice bottom line [smilie=e:
