I got drunk and swallowed my teeth, now
An old friend asked me to do a favor for him. Probably because he knew I was dumb enough to say yes.:shifty:
Well, with warm weather finally getting here I felt it was time to tackle the project.
We start with an almost complete HP manifold;

Then we move to the donor boat anchor and proceed with a hack saw;

After some grinding, chamfering and inserting a bolt for alignment and a clamp to hold it together;

After a couple of tack-welds on the edges, remove bolt & clamp. Then, to prevent cracking because of heat build-up, I weld about a half inch at a time. Then let it cool enough to touch. After almost an hour of weld, cool, weld, cool, etc, etc....followed by some grinding to hide my booger welds...:toot:....we have..............

I used to be able to weld a lot better before I lost sight in one eye.
