Little help please...

Some of the banner pics that I yanked from the old site were just numbered files - no way for me to identify them.

The new banner uses the filename to create the tooltip that you see when you hover your mouse over the picture.

So, I need to figure out which picture came from which user.
I have some, but these are not clicking. (I know I should know some of these, but hey I'm getting old.)

Once I get those filenames fixed up, the banner is basically done.
I might still play with an automatic resizing thing to make them fit the style you are using, but I'll wait for the poll to end before tackling that one.

If you want your picture added, just send me a link or attach it to a PM.
Any size will do, I can resize them to fit.

If you want to resize it yourself, the target is 125 pixels high.
Width can be anything, but most of the pics are relatively square-ish. The average is somewhere between 166 and 200 pixels.

I'm biased cause it's my car but my favorite pic is the one of the unpainted heads and intake bolted together. Thats my desktop wallpaper.

No, this one... oops. It's not in there. I don't have it on my computer here at work either. I'll have to wait till I get back home and then I'll post it here for you.

Of course if you like that one you can put it up too, whichever. That one just needs to be cropped some to get rid of the junk around it.

DCF, this is the one I was referring to...

It looks even wider when it's displayed as a desktop pic on a widescreen monitor .

My photo editor trial software expired so I don't have a way to resize it right now.:doubt:

I just noticed the red x's.

That happens when I go change the filenames to reflect the car owner's username. When I do that the link in that first post breakd because it's using the old numbered filename...

So, that means that only those pics that show up are the ones that we need to identify. All of the others are covered.

I accidentally did that on purpoase by chance.... :shifty:
