Let's tear down!!!

It's the intake, I will get a couple pics of it & the numbers tomorrow. No rush, it's not going anywhere...

Sorry for the delay, had a busy weekend, but I did manage to get a few minutes to snap some quick pics.0826121320.jpg0826121321.jpg0826121321a.jpg0826121321b.jpg
Hope these are decent enough.

Great intakes...perfomrance wise. Even though they do weigh a few pounds more then the aluminum ones.

I was going to put it on the Satellite until plans changed and it had to go. So I am glad to see it will be going to good use. Let me know when it gets to you and that it is still in one piece. It weighed in @ 62 with the packaging, but that included the bubblewrap and packing paper plus the box packed in a box. Thanks again Bill!

Bill, looks like your package has landed in Dallas, you should see it tomorrow.

Thanks Snook! I love your car!

Mr 340 thanks for the update! I'll be up in filthadelphia international airport dropping my middle son back off to his, worthless bag of flesh, mother tomorrow. Then hopping right back onto another flight and coming back home, thank God.

I deal with UPS daily, I know how "gentle" they are with heavy packages and I wanted to be sure it arrived undamaged. Glad it made the trip safe and sound.

You ain't kidding about that, those guys are like gorillas in a Samsonite commercial.

The car is coming back into the garage the end of the week. I'm swapping the front brakes over to the 11.75" I ripped off of the 'Doba, the Duster had brand new spindles w/ new lower ball joints, new dust caps and bearings still in the packages, and a pair of new upper ball joints still in the boxes.

I picked up a spare set of LCA's and I want to get the reinforcement plates and sway bar tabs from FirmFeel along with the HD pivot pins and new bushings. Also in the plans is a FF stage 2 steering box swap/upgrade and a sector shaft support. That's gonna wait for a bit, the Charger has a reman box in it right now, but when I do that I want to upgrade the steering pieces, C body parts? XHD leafs, 3" relocated, rear spring sliders (where did you get yours Jass), sway bars; bigger diameter front 1.25" and add the rear (custom fit), and a brand new set of T-bars, .940" (Wheel Rate 142) or just go for the 1"(WR 175)? Subframe connectors naturally and more than likely some sort of cage, well intergrated (read: hidden). Not much interior presently no headliner, package tray, or much of anything else, and there are plenty of custom shops locally to work around whatever I do with it.

When it's "finished*" I'm going to have something like this 285/30ZR19 (12" wide, 25.8" dia) front and335/25ZR20 (13.5" wide, 26.6" dia) rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup ZP, so they're really sticky. :D (2012 ZR1 sizes). My car, my choices :finger:

Future plans incorporate a twin turbo, MPFI 496 stroker with estimated HP in the mid 800's and torque 950+ (estimates are in a carb'd application) I'm gonna keep the sissymatic, a low 3.00 gear ratio and I'd like to find an add on OD.

And the parts collecting/hoarding continues...

* never really going to be :toot:

I got my sliders from Speedway Automotive. I bought their "store brand" parts and the quality is superb. They were quite a bit less expensive than the Afcos.

Even the .940" bars are going to be stiff; the 1.00" bars will be total overkill. I would not suggest them; in fact, you might even want to consider .920s. My guess is with XHDs it'll plow like a hog with the 1" bars unless you go batshit crazy on the rear swaybar. It'll also ride like a damned lumber wagon up front.

I went with the XHD's because I figured they would be quite a bit softer than the S/S springs. Ok Doc, I need some help sorting out the suspension on my car. Point me in the direction I need to go, the Green Brick is my inspiration for handling :)

Did you get the HD's?
