Yall may remember from back when I posted pics of me and my first kids....twins! a boy and a girl since then we've had two more another girl and aboy . that first pic I posted with my twins when they were babies gave my face to viking and jonas which lead to me becoming photochopped wildly! on scatpack.. I've been everything from a gay easter bunny to mcbeth in a thong! lol anyhow those twins just turned 16 and are now driving ! leaving me to come up with cars. I did get them both a fixer upper which both are not able to be drivin on the streets yet. but I told them they will always have a car to tinker with and show.(found the girl a 76 roadrunner the boy a 73 duster)... my girl got a part time job and i helped her buy a daily driver 07 caliber weve added some goodies to together but my son wanted my 96 ram 4x4 so I agreed on a price he had to work and pay for so away from me the extended cab went which left me with just my motorcycle and various in progress hotrods so enter the 95 dodge 3/4 ton reg cab I took in trade awhile back with a lost tiltle I didnt care at the time I was going to use the running gear in a project (the military crew cabwith ex cab sb truck) but not having anything to drive this past winter with a nice heater and 4x4 I decided to start driving it . I put in for a lost title took three months but finally recieved it ! after driving it awhile I started hitting salvage yards to find better parts! bought a newer seat and door panels from a 2001 extended cab had to do a little sawzall action to the seat but it fits good now. lol the salvage yard yielded a set of lightd mirriored sunvisiors a working window washer bottle all the dash screws i was missing and a sliding back glass and back bumper for $150 .The more I drove it the better it ran! I changed all the fluids gave the V-10 a tune up man the thing really came alive! I put in a power chip and changed the trans fluid I may go back and put in a shift kit later? I've burned those tires in the pictures till there was nothing left! the V-10 really makes the truck feel light for a 3/4 ton runs much "MO" better than the 360 in my/boys Red truck!!phone pic backup feb 22 12 866.jpgthe above picture is with the 35x12.50x16 s with 16x10 micky thompson wheels put on it off the crew :)
 
V10! That thing is thirsty. There are v10 shorty headers all over e-bay for right around 100.00 shipped. I put a set on my '98 with a 360 in. Wow! did that (and the rest of the exhaust work) wake it up! G-tec says 116 H.P. gain! My cat was plugged. I'm sure most of the gain came from that.
 
Yea I saw those headers the other day ! I definatly have them on my list!! I put new exhaust of it with 40 series flowmasters ... wow sounded like some body beating a bag of bumble bees over a loud speaker! lol you know how bad/weird vipers sound! lol we went back and put a set of 14 inch cherry bomb glass packs on it no cats! now it sounds like a really smooth and tuned cummins diesel! most people think it is untill the 20 inch echo chambers roar at 4 grand lol! as for gas ...funny on that deal mine just happens to have came with 4.00 gears not some really low gears so with the 35s the gear ratio is higher it actually gets better than my 360 did I think the power to weight helps too!? wow that is a big hp gain on yours!cool!!! thats what year 98 my truck was i let my boy take its still sharp and runs great but its gettin close to having 250000 on it ! gotta love them mopars!!!
 
Here's where I start going arye?!! lol! You say KC whats that challenger fiberglass hood doing laying in front of your ram and not on the wall where it was for the last 3 years? well ...... 1 guess! turn away challenger guys!!:toot:

i dont usualy like scoops on trucks..but i dig that....the only chally hood id get mad about is the rt

HOWEVER if you dont make it FUNCTIONAL you need an ass kicking......nothing worse that a scoop that goes NOWHERE!!!!
 
but Of course its cut and open functional! what kinda shade tree backyard hack would I be if I didnt make the hole!! lol I have to get that pic loaded on here!

From the start of this Idea on the truck it has to be usable ! yea Ive over built in the past! lol not fancy! scratch it ,run it through the woods , fair wal mart parking lots without a hitch! look kinda bad ass....was thinking camo of some sort but not the spotty type so the other day I saw a convoy of army gas carriers comming down the highway fresh from the desert made me think hmmmmm! lol then it started ....yep desert sand! lol painted the front grill and bumper chrome gray hammered finish and painted holed the bug guards to look like armor[ATTACH=CONFIG]13894._xfImport[/ATTACH]v-10 truck 003.jpg

been trying too get engine all cleaned up and Ive been to the car wash with the cleaner laying under it getting everything ready to paint underneath it was a texas coast truck so the frame is a little rusty ....brake lines need replacing and just get it clean and get some rust paint on it! will help! v-10 truck 005.jpgv-10 truck 042.jpg
 
The Headliner was falling dropping foam crust on me so I removed the headliner scraped for a full day getting the foam off I hated every minute of it !! A few miles from me theres a bargain barn that has everything cheap I headed down there to score some headliner material they didnt have any that really stood out different then I stumbled into the camo...not what I intended but it was a cool pattern I bought three yards for 20 bucks ,it went alot farther than I thought it would, so I went ahead and stuck it to the plastic post covers too! yea its woodsy to say the least I keep lookin for deer in there lol! keeping with my ever growing zombie theme I broke out the air brush and while I had the dash out installing the radio "which took alot of sawzall cutting to fit in!" I painted the dash cover with a few skulls and zombies also notice that red button looking thing!? thats one of those manual 4x4 axle engagers from ebay it gets rid of all the factory vacuum switches ,cansters,etc. uses a new axle actuator and a transmission style shifter cable works like a charm! now I definatly have 4 wheel drive when I want it! those vacuum

Yea I stole the dash painting idea from my boy zanes wheels on his truck I painted a couple weeks ago He wanted me to show yall a pic of his truck ..lol He's really went to town cleaning it up and installing a sound system etc... yea it wasent my favorite either but I couldnt find a favorite! lol looked at straight tan with lines hell they even had tan with camels on it lmao but nothing that really stood out so..... it takes gettin used to ! kinda busy in there at first! lol
 
been all morning today painting the frame ,axles etc. with rustoleum hammerforged paint spraying from my paint gun wish I could find the desert tan in quarts Ive tried everywhere ! the paint store can flatted urethane paint . I tried some but when it dries it dosent have the dry dusty look of the krylon or rustoleum camo paint

What 69.5 was trying to tell you is that no one can see your attachments in the post about the dashboards... except you, because they're cached on your computer.
