KASEY KAHNE WINS AGAIN---GO #9 DODGE

LAWFISH

"A MOPAR FOR EVERY MOOD"
I am new here but am thinking some of you may be NASCAR guys/gals.

KASEY KAHNE WON AGAIN TODAY, racing Tony Stewart to the end few laps then leaving the entire field behind.

Scott Rigs in another Everhamn car finished 6th or 7th and did very well with teap Petty car #43 in 10th, very good for Petty, showing they are making a move up for sure this season.

GO KASEY KAHNE, who will be 26 years old tomorrow.

Sorry... I couldn't resist.[smilie=f:

Its beginning to look like its Kaseys year - finally. The way he was leaving the pack at the end its a wonder he didnt get tore down. I guess when you start on the pole you can get away with that stuff. 9 is my new favorite number.:2thumbs:

supposedly every winner gets tore down no matter what:hmmm:

I think its the top five who do (not certain, though it would make sence)

I know at the track i used to race, the top five from all the feature races got an inspection at the end of the race, they mainly checked the engine compartment, but if there was a rule about no locking diff's (the pure stock division i ran had that rule), they'd jack the back of the car up and check with a few spins of a tire.

Well........... yes and no. Its good to see dodge in the spotlight again for the first time in many years but there again its sure as hell not the same as when king richard and mr allison slugged it out in the good old days. Nobody here seems to care much but I still dig it.[smilie=f:

There are a few of us that still dig Nascar racing, but most of these nuts seem to be too wrapped up in the past that they cant accept something new in this world. I think most of them are still in denial of their age.

I know, I liked the ole days better too, but I cant keep quoting DODGE/PLYMOUTHS past wins from the 60s/ 70s. And I cant watch the same ole videos of superbird and daytonsa winning and pretending its real time.

I am just glad that eventhought the cars amya ll be the same, that the #9 BIG RED DODGE has two wins already this year.

Yep, I'm a HUGE Nascar fan.
A fan of almost any Stock Car racing, truthfully.

Kahne sure had a rocket at the end there, huh?

Yep, I'm a fan, find I'm watching less that I used too. also kinda stuck in the olden days(petty fan).
Some signs of life there, running better but now their stuffs breaking??? but it's been a lotta years since top ten finishes so there is hope! Rich.

Rusty, I think Petty Enterprises is on the way back.
Todd Parrott, Robbie Loomis and off course Bobby Labonte - how can they go wrong? Both the 45 & the 43 are running better, the parts breakage they'll get a handle on.

I'd be willing to bet Labonte gets to the winners circle this year!

I was a Richard fan for a looong time, then along came Earnhardt, so in that direction I went.
After he died, I rooted for no one in particular, just watched.
Now the 43 is my favorite once again. :)
