Jester's Progress...

Jester

In through the Out Door, so She's
Nothing to see here, yet. Waiting on the Collector License plate approval.

I want some small bolt pattern Rallye rims, and a tattoo.

Gonna a get a "tramp stamp" are you.....;):toot:

Don't think so. I've never had the urge to permanently ink my body... But if the urge is strong some day, I'll get a scatpack bee on my upper arm.

Still waiting for a response on those collector plates :(

I'm guessing shipping would be pretty high for rims, eh?

Road trip!!

Heck you drove the car back from California...so a trip to Oregon should be a breeze....I'll go to if you need a co-pilot...;)[smilie=::

But if you get them shipped to a US shipping address the cost should be reasonable...probably $20-$40 per rim??? Then drive across and pick them up...pay you duties/tax and your done.:giggedy:

yeah, the border isn't fond of me at the moment :)

Trust me! You get one tatt, you're hooked on the ink!!! I have well..I had one that my step brother and I were drunk and uhm...lets just say it's green and it burns well under the right conditions and if you should just happen to inhale it...you get the idea :bwuhaha: anyways he gave me a cheap indian ink and sewing needle ink tatt that I had covered a few years ago so I've had 2 tatts but only show one...(damn what is it about beer that mame babble:wtf::huh:) anyhoo, yea, you get one and you start planning for the next one soon after!!! I'm getting a half sleeve for $100 from a buddy around tax time! My own design too. ;) (I'll post pics when Iget it around February)

If you're thinking about ink, make sure it's something you love and in which you believe.

I had a Super Bee inked on my upper right arm 12 years ago, and have never regretted it. Those who have seen it know instantly what it is, and couldn't picture me without it. Keep in mind, I was anti-tattoo until I took the plunge and still am if what you have inked is just there for the sake of ink.

The big thing is that some day, you (and I) will be 70 years old, and if you have to tell the story about why you've got the mark, you should've never gotten it in the first place. That's why I have only one tat.

im with ya doc..ya gotta have one hell of a good reason for the tat or dont bother...

ive considered a few times and passed on the idea every time..ive got enuf battle scars from wrenchin...why do i need some ink?

jester probably about 25$ per wheel shipping..but thats just a guess..just drive down and get em....or send cow :D

Agreed!! If you get a tatt should reresent something about you or share a story about you and your life and who you are! If you just get ink for the sake of having ink....one word comes to mind... POSER! All my tatts that I have in mind will tell a story nout me or show something about my life/beliefs...etc...

Take his word, Jester... I watched him fall off my front steps in drunken hilarity a few years back. :D

Well that's probably because you were "requesting" the body cavity search....:shifty:....:D

I got one a couple years ago....took me almost 15 years to realise what I wanted....I had the basic design of what I wanted but took that long to be comfortable with the design....I have many more comming....:giggedy:

I can cross and pick those up for your Jester....I have a US addy and cross all the time...PM if interested.;)[smilie=::

:D ok, I'll wait until I'm 100% sure about getting a tat. Haven't been inked for 29 years, so what's a few more years to make sure?

As for the rims, they'll have to wait a couple months. The car fund is being used to get a Ram or Dakota... Gotta replace the Geo Tracker with something that can haul things and pull the odd trailer (helping Dad clear and build on his property on the Island). Fuel costs aren't much of an issue now that work is 15 min from home :)

*sigh* I'll pm 69.5 to see if he still has the rims in a few.

On that note, what's a good truck for light-medium duty workloads, that can also be daily driven. fuel costs aren't much of an issue, but would like better than 11mpg ;)

regular cab.

me personaly id grab a60's/70's/early 80s d100/150(isnt a 150 a 4x tho?) with a 318 and 2brl or a 70's/80's/early 90's yota with a 22r/re/ret...you can SEVERELY and STUPIDLY overload a yota with INSANE weight and it will just take it and smile right back at ya!!!!..took my father 25 years to kill a 1975 toyota long box sr5..and this thing was 110% work truck and spent a good portion of it hauling loads i wouldnt have put on a 3/4 ton ...for example the d6 cat diff or the 20+foot 2foot by 4foot beams or the dune buggy on the lumber rack(yeah dad built one hell of a rack for that truck!

personaly id take a yota over a kota every day

wheels aint going anywhere..

Well try and stay away form the 4X4's..they will eat more fuel regarless...my 87 ram 250 gets about 12-15mpg, 360 blah blah blah....not great but like you I only drive 15 minutes to work 6 times a month...one tankful lasts me over 3 weeks....:p:toot:

I was looking at the 2005 and newer toyota tacoma SR5 trd's...love the truck but when I actualy got to sit in one...guess what they aint built for a guy 6'8" and 265lbs.....:doubt:

6'8..holly shit cow how do you fit in the wagon then..did you flip the sliders from the passenger side to the driver side?(gives you an extra 2 inches in most mopars)

That's why I love C-bodies...the only real mopar I fit into....sold all my A/B and E's after I discovered C's...;)[smilie=::

No seat adjustment necessary 69...lots of leg and head room...just slide the seat all the way back and it's like your riding on your couch.
