The initiative for the just-announced Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY car race series comes from Jaguar Racing, which joined the Formula E circuit in 2016. Cars racing in the series will be based on the upcoming Jaguar I-PACE (expected on the market in 2018) and be developed by Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations division.
