Sometimes life gets in the way and you forget to keep in touch.
Hi everyone, yes I'm still alive, just turned 71.

Sold my 65 convertable, regretted it and started looking for another oldie but goodie. No luck finding anything I would drive across the country to see. I won't buy anything without laying hands and eyes on it personally. I did find a 69 Sat convertable that I sold in 1987, (checked the serial number to my old registration) it was good to see that it had been taken care of and had many good things done to it. The seller really discouraged me from driving it back from Dallas to West Virginia though, sounded like there was a reason it wouldn't have made that trip that he did not want to reveal.

Found a 2013 Chrysler 200 convertable locally. I confess, I sold out to the goodie laden, power everything, electronic marvels of today. It fits my life style and my limited abilities to work on cars any more. All I have to do is enjoy it, and it is a blast.
Hope you all are fine and enjoying life, I am.

Well, hello Tom! Good to see you're doing well.

You're not the only one to succumb to the temptation of goodie-laden late models. My friend sold the '68 Hemi Road Runner he'd owned for 39 years back in 2015 because his wife wanted a different house... but it wasn't as monumental a decision as one would've thought; in his mid-'50s by then, the Challenger Hellcat he'd already purchased was getting a lot more seat time anyhow.
