It's a boy...and a boy and a girl...

I have serious issues, so I'm
We have triplets in the house, of the rodent variety.

These are pure-bred guinea pigs, the breed is called Teddy. Piggy calls them vermin, but I can sell these vermin for $30/apiece. :D But we are keeping the two boys, and the girl (gray one) is being given to my daughter's best friend.

Here they are, only a few minutes old. Guinea pigs have long gestations for rodents, they are pregnant for around three months. The babies are born fully developed, eyes open, and they can eat solid food within a day or two.

Here's Mama, the day before giving birth:

The kids named this one Wilbur (he's the runt, like the pig in Charlotte's Web)

I think they named this one Smores (it's a debate in our house)

This one is Pigwidgeon (after the owl in Harry Potter).

All the babies with their Dad. His name is Bob. :D
