Enzo Anselmo Ferrari was born in Modena, Italy, on February 18, 1898 and died in Maranello, Italy, about 9.5 miles from his birthplace, on August 14, 1988.
In his 90 years, Ferrari took a childhood passion for racing and transformed it into an automaker that remains a benchmark among ultrapremium brands and a motorsports operation with more Grand Prix victories than any other brand.

Scuderia Ferrari, which translates to “Ferrari Stable,” was originally the Alfa Romeo racing team, which Enzo Ferrari ran from 1929 to 1937.
