I'm in lust

I dunno... there's a lot of different greens on that car.

There are a few tack-ons of which I'm not fond (the poorly-placed hood pins that were N/A with hideaways, the Caravan grille emblem, the crooked "400 Magnum" fender emblems) but I could never suffer that roofline again. When they had the vinyl off--it was originally white, and the contour behind the quarter glass is wrong--they should've just converted it to a standard quarter glass. The decision to put a black roof on was sound, though. Agreed on the Cragars, although I have no issue with 14s per se. That's what's on the Valiant... at least, two out of three of the sets of wheels are anyhow.

This car's got a pretty decent option package on it, but as with so much of the stuff Streetside sells there's a lot to question. For twenty grand less, it might be a good buy. Anything more than $20K, though, and I think you could do better. Then again, I've been looking for a decent '71 SE for a couple of years now with no luck, so...

oy i had forgotten how much too much body work is forward of the front wheels...as in theres more front fender than there is rear quarter

everyone knows my love of the SS but the 14s on it are indeed too small

WOW! That paint is horrible! How can so many people not see paint mismatch like that?

When you are in lust you have denial, then the wedding ring goes on, or the pink slip gets signed and the scales fall off. I would pay twenty maybe, beware of lust.

I like the car, agree on the price. I noticed the the poor repaint on the hood and fender. I saw the hood pins too, figured they were incorrectly installed by a PO. Prices on these are insane, but they don't think they're coming back to reasonable, ever. Makes me regret selling mine.

Edit: Doc, I'm in complete agreement with correcting the quarter window treatment, I'd lose the vinyl forever at the same time (but not until it was necessary).
