Where can I go to look up old mopar part numbers? I have a bunch of stuff that I need to find out what it is, and some of the numbers don't pull up on search engines like altavista. For example, I have a vent window that has the following printed on the box:

L-PT NO. 2588 699

N.A.G.S. V3581

I have no idea what any of that means-some guidance on where to go to learn about rationale behind the numbering system sure would be helpful.

It's worth two cheeseburgers and a swift kick in the ass. Get off the computer and get back to work you no load. :bwuhaha:

Got another confusing one: I have a cast iron bare distributor housing that has some numbers on a sticker. The numbers are 3620-?38. I don't know what the question mark is, possibly a 6 or a 0. I can't seem to find out anything about those numbers. Also, stamped or cast into the distributor housing itself is 1014B. Any idea what that fits?

All I can tell you is that they quit using the cast distributors back in the early 60's.
