I have a confession.

I think I am falling for the SRT-8 Charger. I still wish they had called it something else though.....
I wonder how good the traction system is, for snow, I mean. If I can convince my wife I need one AND get to keep my Land Rover for winter and off-road fun...well, we may have a new member of our family. :)

If I could afford it I would have one.. Yes I liked the 1999 show car yes I am not happy it is a 4 door. But after riding in one on a test track I LOVE IT.

out of the 3 SRT-8's i prefer the 300 but all of them are winners in terms of handling and acceleration. anything(SRT-8 magnum) that can hand a $90k E55 its ass in handling and turning fast laps cannot be that bad of a car. if the SRT-8 package makes it into cars in europe i can see some american iron becoming fast favorites over there

Go for it Jon, although the design is controversial there is no denying that 425 horse powerplant would be a blast to thrash on.

I agree. that kinda pony power makes yah warm in the tummy. ;)
I don't MIND the styling....I mind the name.

Put the drivetrain in a REAL Charger, then scrap the new body.

The Krauts are getting WAY crosseyed again, I noticed.

Mark.

If you like the car, you should buy it.

We have decided to keep what we have & drive it till it drops, because Chrysler really is not offering anything attractive in the upcoming model year. We are thinking maybe we can keep this old neon going long enough, we won't have to borrow to buy our next new car...

I still have this real issue with it being called a Charger....can't explain why it irks me so.... :(

I could Dave! And it would too....kinda un-like my Land Rover....:D:D

Get it, do an abuse...road test on it for a year, and then send a bill to D'oHimler Chrysler for your time and expenses for a long term road test.
