I feel happy

Stretch

Hey! There’s no easy button for a body like this!
Well there is a big change ahead in my life.

I gave two weeks notice to my boss of 13 years or so today.

I took a job a t a local tire store as the alignment tech. This job starts out at the same money per hour as I make now (after 13 years) Plus better insurance, a retirement plan, and 10% commission on all labor for parts sold on the alignment rack. In other words, if a car comes in for four tires and an alignment and I get it on the rack and see that it needs brakes or chassis parts I get 10% of the shop labor rate to change those parts. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 to 5:00 and they offer 1 week vacation after 1 year, 2 weeks after 5 years, and 3 weeks after 10 years. Raises start after the first two months.
