Not A Duster

Time and time again its been reported that Iran isn't developing bombs. Like us, they have no MONEY to start a war. Their economy is just as bad as ours. I got this from http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/7149637.stm
Ummmmm...just in case you never heard, hostile nations lie about their military capabilities to mislead their enemies.
Like the US, Iran is a democratic state. From what I have read, the people there are pissed with him and it seems more than likely that he won't be in office within a matter of years.
Democratic?
Ask their women how democratic it is.
You think we need to attack iran because "they want us dead." I do know that Ahmadinejad said that he wants Bush dead, or something like that. The middle east is a highly religious state. They hate us because we are there. We're fighting a religious war and their is no point to it. Muslims continue to fight for religion. They are pissed over our occupation of their land.
You are confusing religion with fanaticism. The muslim people I know would never behave in the manner these thugs do. The religion has been twisted by violent, evil people. This includes Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - a man who publicly states that women are little better than breeding animals and that the Nazi holocaust that killed 6 million jews is a "myth."
Simply put: Occupation breeds terrorism..
Fanaticism breeds terrorism.
Have you ever heard of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict? The Muslims continue to fight and will not stop. All for a simple piece of land. You ask me to learn from history. Is this not history enough?
No it's not. There is a far bigger picture that you are missing.
We are fighting a war we can't win. I may not have lived through the Vietnam war but i do know that we swallowed our pride and came home. As it sits now we trade and are diplomatic with vietnam. ..
Good example. Yet another conflict the US entered and didn't TRY to win.
Yeah, Ahmadinejad does dislike America. There is no need to have that stop us from diplomacy. If peace can be had without bloodshed it's a move in the right direction. Plane and simple...
Negotiate with the mad dog...it's going to try to tear your throat out either way, but why not toss some flowers at it instead of bullets?
Yet again, no need to poke fun at people Gio....
I think what Gio was getting at is that mebbe you need a little more life experience before you start ripping other peoples foreign policy. Maybe spend a few years paying bills and being responsible for someone other than yourself.
Ron Paul is not a seperationalist, he is a non-interventionalist. Look it up, you'll be surprised that FDR was one too.
MMM-Hmmm, true - and millions (not thousands, not tens of thousands, not hundreds of thousands, but millions) of people in Europe may have died unnecessarily because FDR chose to sit WW2 out until he was forced into it by the Japanese. Great policy that was.
Now I ask, do you feel that I am an idiot anymore?
Again - you are not an idiot. Just very young - and naive
