How NOT to do body work

the hell did they do mix and match the wrong paints or oil the air going onto the car?...damnd she needs blasted and restarted

I saw a 57 chevy convertable the other day. It had nice shiny paint but it looked as if someone installed the trim with a 2 pound maul. That's how wavy the body was. I'm hoping the body shop it was parked in front of was going to fix someone elses work and that they didn't just finish it.

How it SHOULD be done

The shell was picked up Friday eve, by a very happy owner. )
Still have the fenders, doors, hood and decklid to finish, but those parts are pretty close to being ready for paint.

The owner decided on Saffron Yellow instead of the Heath Green - actually his wife decided that for him - but it turned out very straight and very shiny.
150 + hours into this so far, plus the painter's time.[smilie=f:

It left in the pouring rain for a 1.5 hour ride back to Stratford, so it was impossible to get much better pics.
