Hot Rod Power Tour came through yesterday...

right through my hometown. We met up with it near the Indiana border and followed it to Ididit Inc. (maker of those hot rod steering columns).

I didn't take many pictures of newer stuff, but I couldn't resist the new Camaro.

I can't believe someone went to the trouble of cloning the Family Truckster from National Lampoon's vacation, but they did a great job with it.

The graffiti was a nice touch.

This thing was so cool...2 door wagon.

We noticed there were far more Mopar E-bodies on the tour than A-bodies.

Hey, is el camino NOT an el camino? The front end looks odd - like someone grafted something else on to it. or maybe it's just the angle of the pic.. or maybe it's because I don't even know squat about el caminos.

that 8dr mopey wagon "could" be original....i know alot of 6 and 8 door rigs were made as "tour" rigs..ive seen 4 different ones localy over the years..always cool to see....the chally hood looks good on it..but seriously i wonder if the 8 doors is original for the car or not

Love the Rat Patrol, the Family Truckster and the pontiac can am. I know where a possible clone car to be made of the Can Am is sitting everyday a few blocks from my house and it still runs. Are the scoop's and stripes available aftermarket?.

Oh, and the uber cool white dart and Green Nova are giving me a chubby:giggedy:
