aboot noon today recent enough? When we got here 3 years ago (and before) it was Kittelson's Truck and trailer (kiefferbuilt?) sales, They moved to the great City of Masons last year.
 
Hmm does Hardees own Carl's Jr.? They have the same smiley star thingy in the logos. And buildingwise that looks like it used to be a Wendy's. :hmmm:
 
Stuff sure has changed since Ive been there. Hiway 9 looks alot wider than it used to be. Cruise buy 412 state street beside the church and snap one- thats where I lived for about ten yrs.:o

It's a "park and sell" now, I guess you rent a spot and sell your car. They've been posting "no cars for sale parking" signs in all the hot spots. Dave still has one up there (A&W) don't you?

Here's 412 it just sold a couple years ago with a big assed shop in back.

Ive painted one semi and 2 cars in that bigass shop. Got built when I was in germany. Sure looks different without the 2 trees in front. The single car garage burnt down in the late 60s and we did all the work on the truck out there for many yrs. After the big one got done it was alot nicer. Thanks again for the memories.:clap:
 
We have an A&W that's alive and well just 2 miles from my doorstep, pass it everyday on the way to work.
They have a cruise night every 2nd thursday of the month May-September. :cool:

A & W:
The last real A & W I saw was in Modesto, background there was 2 when they filmed American Graffiti The one I think George Lucas probley when to was sold and torn down but downtown Modesto where I waisted my youth cruzing still has a REAL A & W. as of 2000 when I last visited. Here in Colorado we have lots of A & W / KFC but its not the same no car hops no frozen mugs filled with root beer.

We have an A&W here in town. Not like the old kind, though. However, they DO frost the mugs for dine in orders.
I tend not to go there, though, because it's never really busy - ever.
Makes ya wonder how long the food's been sitting around. The food is definitely "different" than other A&Ws I've been to.

The A&W in Stratford, ON does a cruise in once a week in the summers.

There's lots of A&Ws in shopping mall food courts up here. Not even close to the same but at least the food is better quality.

The last drive-in A&W closed many moons ago, but the building just got torn down within the last 6 or 7 years...
