-aha, but let us not forget O'Toole's Commentary:"Murphy was an optimist. "

That is sorry to hear. :( thanks for the heads up though, it will allow people to know what they are getting into. [smilie=e:

Ground clearance is awesome - that was the point, I guess.

Lucky you. Check out the awesome ground clearance that I have with my Flowtech headers. [smilie=e: I did make it over the speed bumps in the post office parking lot today so that was a plus. [smilie=e:

Another option to help with the sharp angle nodda describes is to cut off the original flat flange and install a "Buick Ball". It's basically a spring loaded ball and socket design that helps reduce sharp angles and still maintain a tight yet flexible seal. I can't seem to find a pic of one right now though....sorry. Guy at the exhaust shop actually thought of something similar to that, unfortunately, it is so close, it would have helped a little, but not much.

That & we were reluctant to hack & grind coated headers.

Ah yes indeed. Forgot aboot that. [smilie=e:

The left side on my RR needed a sharp bend to clear the draglink also. I ended up cutting and welding the elbow to get the short radius needed.

damn so much for saveing $$ for some shortys [smilie=e: ...guess an uncoated set would allow for angleing the colector? to posibly correct the angles?
