Building a test stand. I had my ass handed to me last year while going thru a bad batch of summit cams. I'd rather break in the cam and leak check everything prior to installing the engine into the car. I made it adjustable, to fit other engines, and it's easy to take apart so I can stuff it in my garage attic. Best of all, I got $20 in it. Its all from left over parts and scrap iron I had laying around.
Hubby just re-picked up a 318 that he gave to a friend years ago. The friend never ran it and it's been shrink wrapped all these years...we'll use that as our test mule for the engine stand.
Piggy made the stand adjustable, so most any engine should fit on it. It's neat, and will come in very handy.
Not quite finished, needs a Tach, battery bracket, a cup holder and a place to hang up my inflatable love doll.
