Got it on the trailer today and thats about it as it started raining. Backed the truck and trailer into the shed and called it a day.

Can I be a member of the black rear wheels club? [smilie=e: [smilie=w:

The rubber streaks are from a little test of the BFG drag radials I got as a freebie. [smilie=::
My bosses dad was kind enough to once again loan me his awesome Cummins 3500 and trailer. [smilie=e: [smilie=e:

The black wheels do give it a little attitude,I need to get the other two cleaned and painted. They are factory chrome slots (15X8) from a 70's Dodge "Street Van"...remember those? The chrome is shot but they come in real handy for track tires. [smilie=c:

Tri State Raceway in Iowa Marty. Going on saturday for test and tune.
This will be only the second time I take it to the track, the last time was with the small valve 383 thats now in the 66 and it ran a 14.83.Not bad for a 2Bbl engine that only had a 4Bbl carb swap for mods. [smilie=bunny.gif]

Hope to be significantly quicker with the 451. [smilie=e:

What are you expecting to run beep ? I mean are we talkin 11's, low 12's ?

A friend of mine came out to the track one day with his 71 Runner. He had a 440 built to the tits and backed it up with a 4 spd., 8.75 - 3.91. He was pissed because he couldn't get under the 13.8 zone while running slicks. I was running 13.30-13.46's all day with my 340/727 on 14" (no name brand) street tires. :D

I told him he should consider going to an automatic. 4 speeds are fun but you will loose ET time in most cases.

GOOD LUCK BEEP !!! [smilie=c:

Careful. Jass is the president because he likes mismatched wheels so much :D
I guess it is cheaper and less painful than having "DOOFUS" tattooed across your forehead, but even so... [smilie=e:

CUDA ran its best et 2 weekends ago with a 12.38. this cooler weather sure is dropping the et's. another 3 weeks should see even better results.
