Stay safe.

They issued a tornado watch for our area last night and promised hail and damaging winds. My wife freaked and we all had to hang out in the basement.

It rained hard for about 20 minutes. Then cleared..

The local Italian community held their celebration of the Battle of Monte Cassino last night. They top it off with a fireworks display with enough boom-boom to mimic artillery fire.
Other than running about 15 minutes late, all went as planned but I'm sure attendance was down which means lots of wine left over at the Cultural centre.. :D

Cow Island on the way into town. It's draining fast they'll be fine.

Shop is fine floor got wet, not flooded. All my fucking around out there is doing some good

Took a real piss pounding here also. Back yard was a stream most of the weekend, no damage for us but plenty others did not fare so well. My moms basement flooded and dozens of roads are closed/washed out.
The worst of it is just to the south of here with 9-10 inches of rain falling in less than 48 hours.

A lake in Wisconsin Dells breached it's dam..Lake Delton is no more and it swept several pricey homes downstream on it's way out. :(

Yeah I saw that, and a whole man-made lake gone. For most of us they are predicting it starts over again on Thursday, hope they are wrong.

Just goes to show that what man puts together, Mother Nature can take it apart. Anyone missing their tent? I think Isaw it goin downstream.

back:bravo: I've never seen a black spot on radar let alone being dead center, we're back to severe t-storm status. :)

the corn that didn't get knocked over Sunday has doubled in size I guess it's what don't kill ya that makes you stronger.
