68R/T shows the younger generation how going topless is done... quickly!

If you're of the impression that he's some old guy with a nice garage ornament, you're very sadly mistaken. Quite the contrary is true. Moments after this photo was taken, Stretch and I were treated to a first-gear clutch dump and speed-shifted run through the gears, getting near the top of fourth. Gears were banged, tires shredded, pavement abused, hats held, and the peace of the countryside rent asunder. The enormous stupid grins were impossible to erase from our faces.

Make no mistake, my friends... the R/T can and does fly, and the Geezer is a hell of a pilot. :2thumbs:

Tore up lawn and smashed fire pit aside, it was a great weekend spent with you & Stretch. And it's always nice to have an excuse to beat on the R/T. After the ride I'm sure you now know why I decided to keep it for more than 43 years.

I'm already looking forward to spring.

I'm looking forward to it so much, I posted a 2017 calendar at work today, just so I could mark the Jefferson dates for next year as "PP OFF".

I will be marking those days today as well. It was a treat to ride in that ol' gal and as always, 68's company was much enjoyed. I wish I had more time to spend with the man but my job made me a day late for the party.

After the 3rf smoke show and speed run my exuberant "MY TURN!!! MY TURN!!!!" Fell on deaf ears! As expected but you can't blame me for trying.

For the past 43 years very few people have been allowed to drive it. And all have been accompanied by me. Except for Jr, who's allowed to drive it once a year in a local parade. As you may have noticed, it can be a handful.

I never expected to drive it. I was more than thrilled with the ride.

Besides, you've got your own "floorboard ornament" to jerk on now.

Sweet! 43 years is a lot of time spent with a loved one. Here's to 43 more!

:bravo:

Why do I have to live so far away from all the fun?
