Garage door ?????

background: I took 2 (free) 7'x9' aluminum doors and made one 9' x 9' . got it all together after adding sections to the rails. It sits pretty, closed, but when it's up the right side (from the outside) sits 2 inches lower than the left. There's no "spread" on the rollers every thing is parellel.

question: Which way are the upper rails skewed? I'm twenty feet away from either wall 10 feet up so "measuring" is kind of nearly impossible (for me cause im retarded ya know) . What i'm looking for is "move the back so many inches to the whichever direction". or agree with me that "it's just fine they all do that".

BOOTHEAD , can you take som diggi pics so i can see what your talking aboot ? i too am a retard and not good at these math'o'geometrical type questions

that sounds like the problem . :bravo: :bravo:

yeah, these are the springs for the 7 foot door. So it's even more critical (tension) I guess. I did run the safety cables through them :).

playing with pics back in a minute.

You need more spring tension on the low side, increase it gradually until it squares off. ;)

is the building your compareing them to square? ...if the answer is yes then tention is your problem
