Fun day at the track !

My boys and I along with some friends all went to a T & T yesterday. We had a good time but we were all off about 2 mph. Bummer as Ron Jr in the Dart hit a new best 60 ft of 1.61. The old best was 1.66. We finally tried the 9 x 28 slicks. But the mph was only 114 all day down from the usual 116. The car ran 11.70's all day with a best of 11.71 @ 114 and a 1.61 best 60 ft. We aren't to upset as like I said everyone's mph seemed to be off. And nothing broke as we were able to drive the 35 miles home. We also took my youngest sons new SRT-4 that is still all stock and ran 14.02 @ 103 on stock tires. Now we plan to get woking on it to get it in the 12's. Ron

I bought window blinds and bedspreads this weekend....

I was told that the baro was bad yesterday because it had rained for 3 days before yesterday so that may be why the car had a lousy mph yesterday. The highlite of our day was when Jr raced a new supercharged Mercedes. The anoucer was really talking up how this car looks stock and runs so good that he beats most cars he races. Not Jr. :dance: The Mercedes ran good but Jr put a lite on him and never looked back. The Mercedes ran 12.42 @ 112 but the Dart ran 11.74 @ 114. That shut up the anoucer when a stock looking muscle car smacked the modern supercharged car ! ;) Ron
