Fuel-leak recall hits 2018 Cherokees

FCA is recalling around 50,000 2018 Jeep Cherokees with the 2.4-liter engine because a fuel tube might leak and cause a fire. Only around 1% of the recalled Cherokees have the flaw, according to the company’s NHTSA filing; the vast majority were sold in the United States, and most of the rest were sold in Canada, though the recall is global in scope.
