If I had space we would go look at this one

I had a road runner in high school with that color scheme. That was a 4-speed airgrabber car.

You couldn't keep me away from that one if it was the same.

I'm having trouble with it as it is ... but I'm saved by the lack of garage space.

If the desire is strong and you have the monetary means, go for it or regret your decision for the rest of you life. You don't get many chances to re-live your youth.

I'm not the kind of person who hangs on to regrets :)

I've got too many cars as it is, and I don't have the patience to sell them.

I do like that GTX but I think it's going to go for more than I'd want to pay for a non-4 speed non-airgrabber car. We'll see. It went up $4100 yesterday and there's over 4 days left.

It looks like the deal fell through at $70k
"** RELISTING DUE TO SCAMMER WINNING AUCTION **"

It was relisted with a BIN of $74.9 then pulled "because there was an error in the listing."

The amount of peeps interested in these "muscle era" cars are dwindling. When the original muscle cars came on the scene most of us knew how to tune & repair them. That's knowledge that's lost in the younger generation. They would rather make payments on a "new" muscle car with a factory warranty.

Just like the amount of people interested in 30’s and brass era cars.
I'll always admire the beauty & craftsmanship that went into building the brass era cars. Would I want one? No, because they were never a part of my life at any point. I grew into driving age when every car had a manual trans. Column shifts became the norm, but we converted them to the floor. Today one of my cars has a three-on-the-tree. Guess which one that I enjoy driving the most. Yep, the one that takes me back to being 16 again.

My wife inherited a 37 Dodge. Neither of us have any interest in it. Can't sell it because it's trapped by landscaping at her Mom's house.

$145k

I have a question - if you're going to spend up for that goofy billet steering column/wheel, why wouldn't you spend up for a console?

Also, nasty radiator. Modern aluminum unit with an old school spring cap wasn't the cause, but it sticks out.
