First car cruise

hung like a stud field mouse and
Took Dartie to a local cruise on the main drag with Maddy (daughter) as my co-pilot. Lots of spectators to see the parade of classic cars. The compliments she got to hear and all the praise Dartie was gathering as we rumbled along the main drag. Maddy learned to listen to the crowd out her window and tell me everything she hears. Even an aww she is so cute from the crowd. Later I taught her what the little red button was for on the shifter. Never heard a giggle so loud and big smiles as we painted the road. I think I have her hooked on why I built Dartie
She also watched as cameras were being pulled out as people took pictures of us. Dartie got the stamp of approval with old guys saying "that's how they were built"
Really made me proud that I had done something right

We also tried making our mark in my dad's shop. Tires were dirty and a piece of car board was under the tires (no idea about cardboard) but when I opened her up the cardboard flew and maddy was laughing so hard she had tears. Later she told papa about our little markings in the shop. Papa just smiled knowing he would of done the same.

You think people liked it at that cruse in? Wait until you get some color on that thing! Then you'll here them sing the praises!

Had to take daughter for her first communion (catholic) I gave her the option on how she wanted to get there. This is what she chose

Yup, any young girl that prefers an old primered car to a new shiny one is growing up right. Good job dad.
