you going to start a new thread when she arives or use this as the pic dump?..ive got a few that must be added to the core thread

im glad to have her gone..at 19feet she is a BARGE!!!!!....you dont want to know how may offers in the past year ive had on it rangining right up into the 2500$ mark

the motor WILL turn over with a socket..but only so far..so soak those slugs with some marvel

and a heads up...some time back before they went public this was WILCAT auto wreckings WIFES car..however ALOT of west coast stuff in his yard was hauled home by this very beast..so...in a way the car has a bit of mopar history

I am going to start a thread once I start getting her road ready. I'll put pics here once she arrives, and I'll add these pics to that thread.

I'm hoping to get the original motor going, but I have a back up plan in the form of the 440 I yanked from the other wagon.

a good soak and i belive that engine will go...but i also know wildcat WORKED that engine too..and dont know why he put it to pasture or let it go...considering that car has EVERY option i know of

oh do post the build sheet when you get it..also..the only way i could think to pack the replacement back window was to put it in the back seat folded down...also note there is a red tie down hanging out the drivers door...that is a "pull" for the interior handle...i never tore into it but the driver door will NOT open from the outside and i got tired of climbing thru

parked next to the f350 "if" the 350 wasnt a 4dr and was a long box instead the wagon would actualy be a little longer!!!!!

Hey I recognize that place....;) :)

I look forward to watching this one get back on the road.

it was funny parking my 58 ford next to her..one set of bumpers lined up....and the wagon made that big ole ford look like a sub compact

Kinda chompin' at the bit waiting, hopefully it gets here tomorrow. I want to get started on freeing the motor. That should give me a couple days to install the rear window, fix the outside driver door handle, check the electrical system, windows and give it a good cleaning throughout. I have the Mirada wheels with 245/60-15's ready to roll, brake hoses, pads and most of the suspension stuff I hoarded for the Fury, which is still way off from anything but a yard trophy at this junction.

i had actualy tested the elec..and it seemed as tho everything was working..this was last year tho..but the windows were deffinatly working as were the seat controls and lights

the rear window is under the front back seat halfs, the reg is in the back..and the power unit is in the spare tire well..i have no idea why the power motor or reg was pulled..i suspect the motor froze

I saved the tailgate from the other one I had. The release is bad, but I haven't checked the motor yet. The wiring in the other one was shot front to rear.

I saved the entire rear A/C unit from the other car too.

...at 19feet she is a BARGE!!!!!...
...and it's still 5" shorter than my '61.

I saw the pictures of it on FB and didn't know exactly what was happening... you didn't really specify that the big girl was headed your way. Glad to see you'll finally have it to love and hug and call George. :D

No pics today, solid, solid car, only rust I saw was the spare tire well, like you said 69.5. I'll get out tomorrow and start cleaning everything out, and get my lists on what needs to be done to get her on the road. The interior is in amazing shape!

Good to hear, 71!
Why did I think this was a 440 car? Do I have it mixed up with something else in your flotilla?

funny thing is..the dart was loaded in the EXACT same spot...on a similar weathered day...i wonder what the darts shipping date was by comparison

there were some rust "flakes" up front under the battery area but outside of that i found NOTHING...hell..what astounds me is it was BURRIED in briers for unknown amount of years(atleast 5-10)....and the seats look and feel like NEW

i preasure washed her down as best i could

The other T&C I bought was a 440, and oddly, that car sat about the same amount of time, but it had rust and it was a Texas car its whole life. Not Michigan rust mind you, but more than this one. Between the battery tray, and I haven't found a good one yet, and the spare tire well there is no other rust. The 440 is in a stand in the corner of my garage, buried under miscellaneous crap right now.

The year sticker on the plate is '99, and there is a registration in the glove box from '95.

The dash pad and most of the interior are so close to perfect! This weekend is going to be all about clean up and preservation.

Somewhere in my collection of barge parts I have a Chrysler AM/FM radio, I thought about sending it out and having digital guts and iPod-MP3 hook up installed in that one. :hmmm:

The plan is to have her on the road by the end of the month, then I'll start saving for the new carpet and headliner installation. :giggedy:

I'll start a new thread when I get home.
