FCA USreported its best November sales in 15 years,delivering 175,974 cars, SUVs, and trucks, 3% upfrom November 2014. That makes the68th consecutive month of sales increases,beating the average of analysts’ forecasts.
FCA gained market share among the Detroit Three: GM gained by 2% and Ford by 0.3%.
Jeep and Ram posted each posted year-over-year sales improvements; Jeep’s 20% jump put it at the top of the brands. Chrysler, Dodge, and Fiat sales all dropped, though not enough to counter increased sales from the truck and SUV brands.
The Jeep Cherokee, Compass, Patriot, and Wrangler each recorded their best November sales ever, along with the Ram pickup and Dodge Challenger and Journey. (...) →
