FCA US’ strong financial performance in 2017 are having a direct impact on UAW workers: average profit sharing payments of $5,500 per person are going to around 40,000 employees on February 16, 2018.
This will bring FCA US hourly employees’ total profit sharing to an average of over $23,000 since 2009. The current profit-sharing arrangement was negotiated in 2015.
During that period, Chrysler and FCA invested $10 billion and added over 25,000 new jobs in the United States.
